Home & Apartment Window Film

Cooler rooms, furniture that does not fade and daytime privacy, with a view out that stays clear.

A more comfortable home without closing the curtains

Large windows, sliding glass doors and fixed glass make a home bright, but west-facing rooms can get very hot in the afternoon. Keeping the curtains closed all day makes the house dark and stuffy.

Window film rejects most of the sun's heat and UV, so you can keep the curtains open.

  • Cooler rooms and less work for the air conditioning
  • Rejects up to 99% of UV, protecting skin, furniture, wooden floors and rugs
  • Daytime privacy: dark from outside, clear from inside
  • Less glare on TV and laptop screens
  • Holds glass together if a window breaks
  • No interference with mobile or Wi-Fi signals, official 5-year warranty

Where it is most often fitted

Bedrooms

Especially west- or east-facing ones. Cooler rooms and less glare in the morning.

Living rooms & glass doors

Sliding doors and large windows can stay uncovered without the room heating up.

Apartments

High floors get direct sun. Film is fitted from inside, without changing the facade.

Skylights & glass canopies

Sun from directly above is the hottest. Choose a darker shade here.

Home window film FAQ

Will window film make my rooms dark?

Not necessarily. You can choose a light shade such as ICEBERG 20 or 40 that still rejects UV and infrared, so rooms stay bright but cooler. Darker shades are for more privacy.

Can people see in at night?

During the day it is hard to see in from outside because it is brighter outside. At night, with the lights on inside and dark outside, people can see in. Use curtains or blinds for privacy at night.

How much does home window film cost?

It is priced per square metre and depends on the glass area, glass type, shade and access. Send us your window sizes or book a survey for a quotation.

Can I fit home window film myself?

No. Window film can only be installed by professionals, so the result is right and lasts. Contact an official Iceberg dealer for a survey and a warranted installation.

Does window film stop furniture fading?

UV is one of the main causes of fading in furniture, wooden floors, rugs and artwork. Iceberg film rejects up to 99% of UV, so fading is much slower.
